We are delighted to welcome a talented and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages teacher to our team in Wigan. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Daily rates of pay range from £155 to £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective language instruction students. Your role will involve developing and implementing creative lesson plans that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding, fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
