Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager.
The company design, manufacture and install bespoke, turnkey medium to heavy engineering projects. They have an excellent and very diverse order book of projects working across a number of sectors including major projects and the nuclear sector.
This role will be a key position within the engineering team, to deliver on projects through their full lifecycle from tender to completion.
The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing large scale, complex engineering projects
- Providing technical expertise to estimates and tenders
- Controlling project budgets
- Managing contracts, raising variations and claims
- Acting as customer point of contact
- Organising and attending client review meetings
- Managing all stages of projects including design, installation and commissioning
The Mechanical Project Manager will need:
- A technical engineering background
- Experience of managing large, complex, mechanical projects
- Experience of electrical and controls systems
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience of working in a technical, engineering project management role
