Estimator (Metalworking / CNC) £40,000 - £45,000 + Xmas Shutdown + Days Based + Training Leighton Buzzard, Hertfordshire
Are you a CNC Machinist, Precision Engineer or similar from a metalworking background looking to get off the tools in a days based, Monday to Friday role in a growing company with great retention and renumeration package?
In this role you will be dealing with incoming inquiries from the sales team, reading engineering drawings and using your technical knowledge on metalworking to quote prices based on machine hours, inspection and material requirements. The working hours at 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2:30pm finish on Friday.
This precision engineering company were founded in the 1990s and pride themselves on their exceptionally high quality standards and excellent staff retention rates. They supply into industries such as medical, energy, and F1, looking to continue their growth for years to come.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist or someone from a Precision Engineering background who can read Engineering drawings, looking to work within a friendly environment for a company with great retention.
The Role:
- Quoting prices based on material, machine hours and inspection requirements
- Working within the sales team for this friendly business with great retention
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
- 31 days holiday, including bank holidays and an Xmas shutdown
