Axon Moore has partnered with an exciting SME in Preston as they look to hire an ambitious Group Finance Manager into their team.

About the role:
- This is a technical role for an ambitious candidate with post-qualification experience in industry – preferably within a fast-paced business that has experienced a lot of change previously
- You'll oversee statutory accounts, group consolidation work, tax, divisional management accounts, ad-hoc technical projects and support the FD with a range of projects. This is not an exhaustive list but the start of an expanding role
- The role will gradually grow in size and responsibility and will broaden out into MI, commercial and other areas within the business
Ideal candidate profile:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with strong industry experience or a technical industry CIMA who has trained in a technical capacity in a corporate setting
- Evidence of being a leader and able to manage people and influence stakeholders
- Evidence of thriving in a high-change environment
- Proactive thinker and problem solver – somebody who is always in the pursuit of continuous improvement
