About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work opportunities? Our trust of schools in Chesterfield is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across all year groups, including Reception and Nursery classes. This ad hoc position is ideal for someone semi-retired or seeking flexibility in their work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to pupils in all year groups, including Reception and Nursery classes.
- Assist with the delivery of phonics tuition and other learning activities.
- Adapt to different school environments and work alongside various teaching staff.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience in phonics tuition.
- Professionalism and reliability.
- Flexibility to work on an ad hoc basis across multiple schools in the North Chesterfield area, must be available 8.30am - 3.30pm.
- Own transport is beneficial but not essential.
