Maintenance Gardener

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gardener/Maintenance Operative to join a well-respected award-winning company. They have been responsible for numerous very high-profile projects across the country for many years and are currently expanding their maintenance arm, leading to an increasing number of high-profile contracts. They are now seeking a Maintenance Gardener to assist work across St Neots and London, spending 2-3 days in Cambridgeshire before overseeing maintenance of a site in London for the remaining 2-3 days. In addition to a competitive salary, the client will generously pay for the travel expenses of the successful candidate.

Main Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking an individual who is hard-working, knowledgeable, willing to learn and have good time keeping. Candidates will have the ability to work as part of a team or individually under their own initiative.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintenance Gardening

  • Lawn Maintenance

  • Pruning

  • Weeding

  • Watering

  • Planting

  • Mulching

  • Ad hoc planting as required.

  • An understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, having the ability to work under their own initiative while taking pride in their work and completing tasks to a high standard throughout all tasks on the large site. An understanding of Health and Safety regulations is essential. A PA1/PA6 spraying certificate would be desirable, however no essential.
