Job Title - Credit Control Team Leader

Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
IPS Finance are recruiting for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join a growing company whose offices are based in Leeds.
This role offers the opportunity to oversee and lead a team of credit controllers by driving excellence in credit management practices within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Management:
Oversee the end-to-end credit management process, including assessing credit risk, establishing credit limits, and monitoring customer accounts.
- Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of credit control professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Performance Management:
Set performance targets and KPIs for the team, regularly monitoring progress and providing feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Debt Collection:
Coordinate and support team members in the collection of outstanding debts through effective negotiation and communication with debtors.
- Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the credit control function, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience managing or leading a team.
- Proven experience in credit control or related roles, with a strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
