Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + commission & car allowance

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join a thriving logistics company. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

  • Generate new leads and qualify prospects
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Build relationships with customers and close deals
  • Conduct research and maintain details knowledge of customer base and leads
  • Negotiate prices to ensure profitability and competitivity
  • Track and report on sales performance
  • Develop deep understandings of customer needs and solutions
  • Create customised proposals and giving valuable feedback to the team

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have B2B logistics sales experience
  • Knowledge of using LinkedIn as a sales tool
  • Evident successful sales background
  • Creative and proactive with their sales strategy
  • Demonstration of a desire to succeed, determination and self-motivation
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Impeccable customer service and communication skills
