Technical Sales Engineer needed in the welding/metal joining sector.
I'm currently working with an exciting UK manufacturer of resistance welding machines, consumables, and tooling who supply into the UK and EU's manufacturing/metal joining industry. This company are well established in the industry with a 20-year history and £15m turnover.
We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can build relationships with a mature base of customers across the UK, predominantly automotive manufacturers and welding distributors. The role will be focused on supporting your customers as a product expert, building strong relationships which will drive account growth, account retention, and referrals.
Salary: £40k to £50k base salary + hybrid company vehicle + annual bonus (circa 10%).
Location: Remote field-sales covering the UK market.
Duration: Permanent.

Requirements:
- Sales experience within the UK's welding sector (consumables, tooling, machines, distributors).
- Technical expertise including the ability to interpret and create drawings.
- Excellent sales, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK.
- Willingness to attend the office roughly 1x per fortnight (Midlands).
