Randstad are currently working in collaboration with a leading manufacturing business in Swindon. This busy, successful and reputable business are seeking an accounts focused, organised and autonomous Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis to support the smooth running of a busy department.
Key responsibilities of the Bookkeeper includes:
- Daily cash flow and finance utilisation update.
- Manage all payment processing and approvals ensuring procedures are followed and
terms met.
- Manage all queries, liaising with the senior management team as required.
- Assist with annual compliance audit.
- Review & management of VAT and other statutory taxes
- Bank and supplier reconciliations
- Prepare and post monthly journals per journal list
- Manage and run monthly payroll and pension contributions.
- Annual companies house report
- HMRC reports
- Preparation and distribution of the monthly management pack for review
of the SMT
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Production and monitoring of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
where required.

- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excel - Intermediate
- Experience of working in a high performing finance team
- Sage experience
