As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid role that combines working from their Central London office with remote work flexibility. You will work closely with various departments to monitor and enforce compliance policies, identify potential risks, and implement measures to mitigate those risks.

Client Details

My client is a leading foreign exchange (FX) company based in the heart of Central London, providing a wide range of currency solutions to a diverse client base. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Compliance Officer to join their team on a 6-month contract, with a potential extension based on business needs.

Description

  • Monitor and review daily transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of compliance procedures and controls.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and advise the company on necessary adjustments.

Profile

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a compliance role, preferably within the financial services or FX industry.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
