The Interim Finance Manager will oversee the accounting and finance department of a leading industrial manufacturing firm based in Blackburn. This is a newly created role due to business growth and is an exciting time to join the company.

Their headquarters is located in Blackburn, where they have a modern and state-of-the-art offices. They have an excellent reputation for staff retention and development and are a highly sought after organisation to work for.

Description

The Finance Manager role is initially a 6 month temporary role which could be extended. The role is Hybrid with 3 days per week in Blackburn office/ 2 remote. Reporting to the Head of Finance Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee all day to day financial transactions
  • Dealing with internal and external queries regularly.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts including full P&L and BS
  • Accruals
  • Approve Bankline/online banking payments
  • P&L forecast
  • Responsible for the clean-up process and the ongoing maintenance of SAP.
  • Supervise small Team
  • Assist with year-end audit
  • Responsible for other duties as requested by Financial Director.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

  • Have previous experience in Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Be able to consider a temporary role initially
  • Be able to commute 3 days per week to Blackburn office
