CNC Foreman

Hales Group are seeking a CNC Foreman on behalf of their client based in near Diss. This company has shown significant growth over the last 30 years and continue to do so. They specialise in design, manufacture and installation. Due to continued growth they are now seeking a CNC Foreman to join their management team.

As a CNC Foreman, you will be confident in leading a team and ensuring production runs smoothly. You will be experiencde with various CNC Machines, Multi Axis Centres and be used to milling and turning. You will also have experience with a wide range of materials.

Salary: £42,500.00 to £45,000.00 depending on skills and productivity

Work Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday 8:00am – 16:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities, But Not Limited To

:

  • Program, set, and operate multi-axis machining centres.
  • Complete multi-tool setups for production runs.
  • Perform manual checks to ensure component accuracy.
  • Adhere to technical documentation and compliance standards.
  • Carry out high-standard milling and turning work.
  • Manage job priorities based on deadlines and business requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

:

  • Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a similar role with strong manufacturing/engineering expertise.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC setter/operator/programmer.
  • Proficient in Fanuc programming, with a solid understanding of G & M codes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and produce components to exact specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with both lathe and milling machines.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Quick problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong estimating skills for time and material costs.

  • HAAS ST35Y (with live tools and bar feeder)
  • Colchester Harrison
  • Tryax Mill
  • XYZ Manual Mill
