About the Role:Hays are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the dynamic team at a leading energy company based in Plymouth. This is a full-time, on-site role with a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and benefit from on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights
- Support the finance team with year-end audits
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial performance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideally, fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the energy sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
