Arthur is partnering with a leading global reinsurance company to recruit an Underwriting Operations Technician.
This role is part of the Marine and Energy team, where you will handle all administrative, processing, and reporting tasks. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing entries and modifications in the accounting and underwriting systems.
- Verifying contractual terms and conditions, submitting them to underwriters for signature, and highlighting any ambiguities or changes.
- Independently managing a portfolio of accounts.
- Performing Internal Control System (ICS) controls and supporting underwriters in these controls.
- Ensuring completeness and proper filing of underwriting, accounting, and claims documentation.
- Monitoring client accounts and statistics, performing data analysis, and supporting stakeholders with reports.
To qualify, you must have prior insurance experience, preferably within underwriting or underwriting operations, and strong IT skills, including intermediate-level Excel proficiency.
