About the Role:
As a Night Export Clerk, you'll be the backbone of our clients export operations, providing essential clerical support to the Office Supervisor and Senior Export Clerk. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with export documentation, maintaining high standards in file completion, and addressing customer queries with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Export File Management:
Ensure all export files meet our high standards.
- Documentation Compliance:
Follow precise instructions for export documentation and ensuring all shipments comply with destination instructions.
- Mailbox Management:
Maintain shared mailbox to required standards and resolve customer queries effectively.
- Operational Liaison:
Coordinate with the warehouse, import, and commercial departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Other:
Support reception and receiving area as needed and assist in maintaining filing systems to required standards.
As the ideal Night Export Clerk you will have:
- Experience:
Ideally 2 years of experience working for a freight forwarder, within an Air Exports.
- Customer Service:
Excellent skills in customer service.
- Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and Excel and a basic understanding of Bond checks, NES, ASM GEMS, and CHIEF is desirable.
- Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Initiative:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst maintaining a collaborative mindset to support team success.
- Aviation Security Certificate:
Completion of Level CO (training provided).
