Job Description:

We invite applications from enthusiastic and flexible candidates to join our existing ICT support team as an Apprentice IT Technician. You will gain a level 3 qualification in ICT over a 12 - 18-month period. This is a full-time position working all year round (not just term time) 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on an 18-month fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent subject to completion of the apprenticeship.
The salary begins at £22,366 per annum (NJC grade 1 SCP 2) as an apprentice, then increases to £25,119 (NJC Grade 5 SCP 9) when qualified.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have a good knowledge of general hardware and software
  • Be highly organised and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team is essential and
  • Have the experience of working in an ICT support role or similar would be an advantage, but is not required.
