Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Assistant to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating all travel allowances for payroll
  • Accurately inputting data into Excel spreadsheets
  • Ensuring all payroll entries and rates are correct
  • Processing payroll for circa134 permanent staff, plus additional bank staff on an as-needed basis
  • Running both weekly and monthly payroll cycles
  • Addressing payroll-related queries and resolving any discrepancies
  • Supporting the smooth operation of payroll processes with attention to detail and efficiency

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in Excel - ability to create, manage, and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Sage 50 Payroll experience is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Previous experience in payroll administration preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for handling payroll queries
