Salary: £25,000 per annum

Central Employment is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading plastic injection moulding supplier in the automotive sector, based in Eaglescliffe. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and process both Self Bill and Non Self Bill invoices, posting them to accounts receivable to update sales records.
  • Handle customer service or logistics requests for credit notes efficiently.
  • Issue miscellaneous sales invoices and pro-forma invoices as required.
  • Regularly monitor and pursue outstanding debts to ensure timely settlement of accounts.
  • Distribute monthly customer statements.
  • Maintain cash book entries and perform reconciliations, including monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in monthly aged debt review meetings with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant to analyze outstanding accounts and resolve billing queries.
  • Ensure accuracy and organization of the accounts receivable sales ledger.
  • Access customer portals to download payment information and reconcile self-bill payments.
  • Print remittances and manage queries from the central accounts receivable email inbox promptly and effectively.
  • Process supplier receipts, source remittance advices, and allocate payments, including raising credit notes for customer debit note deductions.
  • Support management reporting related to accounts receivable.
  • Assist with audits specific to accounts receivable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven expertise in Accounts Receivable and credit control functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Aurora System 21.
  • Knowledge of Self Bill processes.
