If so, Signature Recruitment is delighted to offer an Undergraduate Administrator role at a prominent London university. This is a 12-week temporary position has an immediate start. There is a flexible working structure to this role, as it offers a hybrid arrangement of 3 days on campus and two days working from home outside term time but during term attendance is required on campus five days a week.
As an Undergraduate Administrator, you will be at the forefront of providing essential information and support to staff, students, and visitors. Your duties will be providing administrative support for the undergraduate degree programmes. These will include coordinating interview days, maintaining accurate student records, and contributing to the successful execution of Open Days. You will also be supporting students on industrial placement programmes and will happily assist with various ad-hoc administrative duties in order to support the smooth running of the team.
Undergraduate Administrator Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the initial point of contact for staff, students, and visitors
- Organising and facilitating undergraduate admissions interview days and Open Days
- Supporting staff with teaching administration including the Year in Industry and Research Abroad students and providing administrative assistance in the organisational aspects of these external placements
- Maintaining and updating student records and draft examination papers
- Assisting the Examinations Officer and Teaching Support Manager in examinations process
- Other ad hoc duties to assist the Team and wider University including organising room bookings, attending meeting and taking Minutes
Undergraduate Administrator Key Skills:
- Previous experience in higher education administration, with a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence and diplomacy to engage with staff and students at all levels
- Effective time management skills, with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
- Proficient in IT - Microsoft Office including Excel and confidence using University software for data input
