PPA / Cover Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This part-time role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The position is fixed until the end of the school year and offers a competitive daily rate, paid to scale.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to children in year 2 and 3.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Monitor and support the progress and development of each student.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching KS1 and KS2 desirable
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment framework.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
