Audit & Accounts Semi Senior – Up to £38k
About Us: We are a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Billericay, seeking a talented Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Assistance: Attend and assist with audits, including planning, fieldwork, and stock takes.
- Bookkeeping & VAT Returns: Handle bookkeeping and prepare VAT returns.
- Management Accounts: Prepare management accounts.
- Forecasting: Prepare financial forecasts.
- Year-End Accounts: Prepare year-end statutory accounts using CaseWare.
- Tax Returns: Prepare personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Payroll: Prepare weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Client Relations: Establish rapport and trust with clients.
- Billing & Analysis: Initiate the billing process and provide analysis and summaries, explaining variances.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years in an Accountancy Practice.
- Qualifications: Ideally studying ACCA or ACA.
- Skills: Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Audit Experience: Previous experience dealing with audits.
