Adults Senior Social Worker
Team: Vulnerable Peoples Service

Hours: 37 and HYBRID WORKING
Rate: £35 per hour
An Adults Senior Social Worker/ Advanced Practitioner is required for the Vulnerable Peoples Service in Sefton.
- Experienced practitioner with considerable experience in the field expected to undertake complex cases including assessment and management of risks.
- Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and expertise demonstrating critical knowledge of the range of theories and models for social work intervention.
- Expected to oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students carrying out practice learning placements as required. Required to give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings

- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Post qualification experience
- Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
- One year minimum post qualified experience in Children's Social Work
- Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
- Possess knowledge of service needs.
- Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
- Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
- Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
