Kingsley Consulting are partnered with a successful waterproofing roofing contractor, specialising in new build sectors and offering expertise in flat roofing, pitched roofing, Mansafe systems, and blue roof systems. The company works with leading flat roofing products.

Role Overview:

The Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects ranging from £100k to £5 million. The role involves coordinating labour, liaising with clients, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage time, resources, and teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and manage directly employed and subcontracted labour.
  • Approve PAYE and subcontractor time sheets.
  • Programme works in accordance with agreed schedules and liaise with clients.
  • Order materials and ensure deliveries align with project requirements.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with company standards on-site.
  • Complete necessary site forms and reports daily and weekly.
  • Record project variations and communicate with line management.
  • Verify that works are installed according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure work meets company standards.
  • Maintain positive relationships with operatives and main contractors/clients.
  • Coordinate plant and craneage to meet programme and cost plans.
  • Attend and contribute to site meetings with stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly progress reports, including marked-up roof plans and programme assessments.
  • Exercise commercial and operational control over projects.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of site manager experience.
  • Background in roofing.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Residency in Southeast England.
