Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Horsforth
Salary: up to £27,000
Hybrid working available after 3 month
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well established business based in the Horsforth area as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk into their friendly finance function on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business and advance your finance career! The Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide timely and accurate processing of invoices and credit notes as well as perform checks and processing of new supplier accounts.
Duties will include:
- Process foreign currency and GBP invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Have an understanding of basic VAT requirements and be able to identify an invoice with foreign VAT
- Support the Purchase Ledger team in other areas when needed, including query resolution and expense audits
- SOX control
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Previous experience in purchase ledger or invoicing
- Highly motivated team player
- Able to communicate at all levels to both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work well under pressure
