Job Description: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Our client is a global Food & Beverage Manufacturer based in Peterborough with multiple sites up and down the UK. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with Food & Beverage Manufacturing experience to come and help assist their growing dynamic team in Peterborough.
Multi-Skilled Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on reactive and preventative maintenance across the factory to ensure equipment reliability and maximise uptime.
- Adhere to retailer-standard engineering practices for food and operator safety.
- Schedule and conduct high-standard machinery maintenance, including servicing, repairs, and inspections, with thorough documentation and hygienic handovers.
- Manage and maintain plant systems such as boilers and air compressors.
- Contribute to machinery design, upgrades, installation, and relocations.
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.
- Conduct risk assessments before maintenance work to ensure safety.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean as you go approach.
Required Multi-Skilled Engineer Attributes:
- Required - Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ONC, City and Guilds, or 17th/18th edition.
- 1 year experience working in Food & Beverage Manufacturing.
- Comfortable working amongst a team.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong computer skills.
