To help us achieve our vision we're looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to join our team. Here you'll be responsible for leading and managing a project and programme management function to support the development and delivery of UK city and local authority partnerships and bids by instigating a structured and consistent process, coordinating resources across the business. Key responsibilities include

Leading a team to project manage and deliver partnership development, winning UK city bids and the subsequent mobilisation and in-life phases.
Co-ordinating and managing inputs and support from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and service providers to time and budget.
Applying high standards and leadership of project management to anticipate, avoid and mitigate project risks, drive value for clients and identify and resolve resource constraints.
Building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels across E.ON UK, E.ON Group and external partners and advisors to ensure coordination and execution of project deliverables and milestones.
Ensuring thorough proactive risk management of projects and bids and providing support to the project team to ensure that all foreseeable risks with regards to cost and programme are mitigated.
Building best practice bid management based on collaboration, knowledge sharing and a globally accessible bid library.
Developing the PMO/Bid team to high standards of agile project and bid management.
Embedding social value across the business as a core component to E.ON's bidding propositions.
Reporting to the Head of New City Partnerships and into the Cities Board on all matters relating to the delivery of bids and mobilisation projects.
What we need from you
A Project Management qualification along with a demonstrable track record of PMO leadership.

Strong influencing skills with the ability to network and negotiate at the highest levels of our business as well as those of our partners, advisors and clients to ensure strong cross-business and functional collaboration, support and delivery.

The ability to lead and develop a high performing project management team and culture.

Strong negotiating, influencing, leadership and communication skills and an excellent awareness of the impact of your work to ensure the most effective delivery of the programme and excellent working relationships.

A desire for further development to broaden skills and experience into strategic business development.

The ability to present complex findings in a concise and engaging manner to senior stakeholders.

The ability to prioritise, solve problems and use initiative to manage challenges.

Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

It would be great if you had

MS Project experience.

Prince 2 or similar PM qualification
