Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance

Here at Recruited UK we are absolutely delighted to be working with this forward thinking, privately funded Bridging and Development lender based in Wirral.

They are now seeking an experienced, team orientated, pragmatic and client focused individual to manage the loan portfolio and to help guide risk management. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in our clients business, reporting and working within the Underwriting Team.

YOUR JOB

  • Act as first point of contact and take responsibility for all dialogue with existing clients and post completion transactions, in close coordination with the Underwriting Team, Accounts and Sales Teams.
  • Monitor portfolio activity and identify risk factors that require Client liaison and may have lending policy implications.
  • Provide feedback regarding activity and risk management at weekly Portfolio meetings with MD, Head of Underwriting and Underwriters.
  • Establish efficient and effective risk management reporting tools, in collaboration with Underwriting staff.
  • Monitor adherence of ongoing loan conditions. Coordinate with Underwriting to ensure timely receipt of any post-completion conditions.
  • Calculate loan redemption figures, liaising with Solicitors to ensure smooth transition of repayment.
  • Process development loan drawdown requests, in coordination with Underwriters.
  • Evaluate and submit proposals to Underwriting with respect of loan extensions or modifications.
  • Collection of any additional Fees, interest payment arrears, issuing appropriate letters/demands where required.
  • Manage any recoveries, with support of LPA Receivers and legal counsel.
  • Structure detailed responses to client complaints/property legal matters.
  • Ensure routine client letters are issued within FCA/Credit Policy guidelines.
  • Conduct post-completion credit file review, and generally maintain post-completion files.
  • Submit data returns to Credit Reference Agencies, Insurance Company and FCA.

Location: Wirral

Hours of work: 9-5 Monday to Friday

Holidays 25 days pa plus 3 days Christmas closure and Bank holidays
