Robert Half Technology are assisting UK's market leading events organisation to recruit a Infrastructure Project Manager on a contract basis - Reading based
Role
- The Infrastructure Project Manager will manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals during the merger process.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT teams, senior management, and third-party vendors, to define project requirements, timelines, and resources.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of core infrastructure upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Oversee cybersecurity projects, ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials and other relevant security frameworks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks while keeping stakeholders informed of project status.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and best practices are applied.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Infrastructure Project Manager, preferably within IT infrastructure or cybersecurity.
- Previous experience managing projects during a merger or large-scale organisational transformation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud services.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and frameworks, particularly Cyber Essentials.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
