Butler Rose are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a growing and modern accountancy firm in Petersfield.
This role will assist with the management of a shared portfolio of varied limited company, partnership, and sole trader clients, preparing year end and management accounts, VAT returns, and the associated corporation tax.
In this role you will receive full study support and a huge amount of assistance which will allow you to complete your qualification and progress to Client Manager.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 3+ years' recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
- Ideally you will be AAT qualified but candidates with a good educational background and accountancy experience will also be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients.
- Experience preparing year end accounts, VAT, and corporation tax.
- Recent experience working in a similar UK based accountancy firm.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK.
Duties:
- Assist with the management of a portfolio of varied accounts clients.
- Prepare year-end and management accounts, VAT, and corporation tax as well as general client bookkeeping.
- Liaise with clients directly to answer financial queries and review accounts.
