Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager

We are seeking a forward-thinking and energetic Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join our growing accounts team. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious and keen to excel, offering a variety of work across different sectors in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervise and prepare year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships
- Prepare associated tax computations and returns (prior tax experience not mandatory)
- Engage in ad-hoc work projects, including client transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and raising finance
- Train and oversee junior team members, providing mentorship as needed
- Assist team management in organising and prioritising workflow within the team
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience (PQE) in an accountancy practice (2 years for Assistant Manager role)
- Prior experience in Audit would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based accountancy software
