We are a refrigerated courier company based in Mitcham CR4, London, so someone local would be preferred. The job will start around 3/4am depending on workload . Mon- Fri. The salary is based on 40h per week worked over 5 days. Some days might be 10h shift and some might be 5/6h, you will not work more than 40h in total.
Duties:
- Drive a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter van to transport goods between locations
- Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting when required
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to designated locations
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to all road safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with experience in commercial driving
- Proven experience as van driver minimum 3 years
- Ability to use a smart-phone
- Excellent communication skills
- Age needs to be over 25 for insurance purposes
