Job summary

Reed Talent Solutions are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team working for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust on a temporary basis, for at least six months with the possibility of extension. We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and motivated Compliance Officer to support with ongoing compliance projects and auditing. While previous experience is preferred, it is not essential as we will provide full training on-the-job, making this an exciting opportunity for any candidate with exceptional organisational skills and a positive attitude.

The Compliance Officer role with Reed Talent Solutions offers a pay rate of £14.36 per hour, paid weekly and accruing holiday pay for time off. It is based in the City of London, near to Liverpool Street Station, and offers the opportunity to work from home twice a week (once fully trained).

Main duties of the job

The key duties of the Compliance Officer role include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with workers via email and phone
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and trackers, managing a high volume of compliance information
  • Updating candidate records
  • Running reports
  • Liaising with senior management and stakeholders within Reed and Imperial Trust

Reed Talent Solutions are a part of Reed Recruitment and are responsible for high volume recruitment contracts and managed serivces. We are contracted to manage the Staff Bank for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and manage the recruitment, bookings and compliance for the flexible, temporary workforce for all staffing groups across the Trust.

Job responsibilities

The role of Compliance Officer is responsible for maintaining annual compliance requirements for all the temporary workforce employed by Imperial Staff Bank. This includes conducting DBS checks, requesting and chasing mandatory training updates, occupational health updates, and professional registration checks.

The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Running reports each month to assess compliance update requirements and contacting all workers who require updates to inform them
  • Managing communication with workers who are due updates to ensure they complete their tasks in time
  • Updating workers records to reflect changes in compliance
  • Reporting compliance figures to senior management
  • Ensuring that SLAs are being kept to and targets are being hit
  • Ensuring that all active workers are in date with their compliance checks
  • Working effectively with the compliance team and wider recruitment and bookings teams to ensure a smooth compliance process
  • Maintaining compliance spreadsheets and trackers to ensure all data is accurate and up to date

Experience

  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience in Administration
  • Experience using excel to a high level, ideally a strong knowledge of reporting and utilising excel to manipulate data, e.g. v-look ups

Desirable

  • Experience in resourcing or high compliance
