Why are you here?

Reporting to the Team Manager, the Apprentice Planning Administrator will provide key administration support to the Planning Officers and Disrepair Coordinator to ensure the team deliver excellent customer service and right first time repairs, through effective resource scheduling, maximising productivity, increasing the capacity to complete more repairs and increasing customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing, over time and with training and supervision of an experienced colleague...

  • Dealing with telephone enquiries and liaise effectively with the Planning team
  • Carrying out a variety of administrative tasks, (emails, invoicing, work trays, reports etc)
  • Assisting with administration for disrepair claims
  • Contacting customers to discuss any issues regarding damp and mould.
  • Pro-actively working with internal and external customers
  • Communicating with various teams across the business
  • Treating your customers with respect and empathy
  • Working 35 hours per week

What you'll need...

  • GCSE maths and English or equivalent at grade C/4 or above, would be preferred
  • Good communication and willingness to build good rapport with customers
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Good level of ICT skills and the ability to use technology such as a mobile phone, tablet and laptop
  • Eagerness undertake training and development
  • Positive and constructive outlook
  • Be able to attend college as part of the apprenticeship programme
  • Commitment to completing all parts of the apprenticeship
