We're looking for someone with a varied skillset covering PCB design and layout, circuit design, and coding in C and variants of C on Microcontrollers. Electronic Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Design / Hardware / PCB / Electronics / Embedded Software / Firmware / Microcontrollers
- Participate in feasibility analysis, project scoping, resource planning and cost estimating providing realistic task durations for schedule/milestone planning
- Specify, design, implement, debug and validate electronic solutions
- Assist in investigation, selection and evaluation of new components and techniques
- Participate constructively in board level digital hardware design reviews with peers
- Assist with integration, validation, evaluation and transition to manufacturing of products. Plan and execute field tests to assess functionality, performance and interoperability
- Generate high quality design documents, validation plans and application guides
- Write basic code in C and variants of C for Microcontrollers
Electronic Design Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Design / Hardware / PCB / Electronics / Embedded Software / Firmware / Microcontrollers
- Degree or HNC/HND in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent
- Experience of PCB design and layout
- Knowledge of circuit design
- Appreciation of embedded microprocessor systems and able to code in C and variants of C
