Position: Night Care Assistant
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / 8pm to 8am (Night Shifts)
Hourly Rate: £12.50 to £13.10 based on experience and qualifications

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistants to join our team and help us continue delivering outstanding care throughout the night.

Role Overview: As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents during the night. You will provide high-quality care and support, responding to the needs of our residents with kindness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care needs, including toileting, dressing, and mobility.
  • Conduct regular checks on residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to call bells and requests for assistance.
  • Administer medications as required and in accordance with care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
  • Support residents with any emotional or psychological needs during the night.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the care home.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless, high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is desirable.
  • Care certficate or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends.
