Quality Technician/ QSB

Location; Oxford

Salary; £16 - £17.50 + 25% shift premium after 10pm

About the role;

Planet Recruitment are proud to be working with a fast-growing organisation based in the Oxford area who are looking for a QSB

Hours - Rotation between 06:00 to 16:15 and 16:00 to 02:30

Responsibilities;

  • Accountability for management and resolution of quality issues within their perimeter.
  • Ensure problem landscape is clearly communicated to the appropriate internal and external personnel.
  • Ensure the internal quality system and process is reviewed and suspect components are progressed as necessary.
  • Ensure Third Party Sorting actions onsite are dealt with efficiently and effectively and containment activity is transferred to suppliers as quickly as possible.
  • Verify Quality Instruction, Level 0 activities and Generating Work Instructions for quality issues within their perimeter are correct.
  • Escalate problems and suppliers as per the internal process.
  • Ensure clear communication of Quality topics is raised to the relevant personnel and business areas.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by line Manager.
  • IT packages are a requirement for this position.
