On behalf of a local family run business, we are looking for a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified with proven experience, ready to develop their role within an expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is adept at financial management and is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic business environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, providing a clear financial direction for the company.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Complete monthly and annual financial reports to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Operate the weekly payroll and pension schemes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Present all necessary documentation for the Annual Account Audit.
  • Collaborate with Directors on current business operations and future developments.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional tasks related to HR and Quality Management as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of SAGE50 and full responsibility for managing the accounts department.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to introduce innovative ideas and processes to advance and improve operations.
