Description
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters including grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence, and performance cases.
- Work closely with employment lawyers and internal stakeholders to ensure pragmatic, legally compliant outcomes.
- Support managers with workforce planning, recruitment, and job evaluations.
- Collaborate with Learning & Talent Development colleagues to identify training needs and develop learning solutions.
- Contribute to HR policy design, review, and consultation processes.
- Coach, mentor, and advise managers and junior HR colleagues.
- Promote employee well-being and signpost relevant support services.
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality HR record keeping.
Profile
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience advising and coaching managers on ER issues and organisational change.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Experience in a public, not-for-profit, or similar sector is desirable.
