My client is a trailblazer in sustainable space development. Since 2013, they've been at the forefront of in-orbit servicing, addressing critical challenges such as End of Life services, Active Debris Removal, In-situ Space Situational Awareness, and Life Extension Services.
Your new role
- Verify and validate real-time software for orbital debris missions, including ELSA-M satellite capture and retirement.
- Focus on flight software for satellite onboard computers, integrating Computer Vision and Guidance, Navigation, and Control software.
- Perform verification, validation, and integration of Flight Software.
- Develop and deliver V&V plans, set up test environments, and conduct non-functional and automated regression tests.
- Collaborate with other teams and participate in Mission system Test and Simulation campaigns.
What you'll need to succeed
Required skills
- Strong programming skills in Python, including managing dependencies and virtual environments
- Strong hands-on automated and manual testing skills.
- Experience with Git.
- Proven experience developing software test environments, and QT-based interactive software applications.
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu.
Desirable skills
- Experience testing software in the space or aerospace sectors.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of C/C++.
- Confidence using command line tools, bash scripts, and Linux commands.
