My client is a small and exciting business within the manufacturing industry, searching for a temporary Part-Qualified Accountant to assist with numerous key responsibilities. They are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to step into the small finance department and complete the tasks efficiently.
Your new role
This is a full-time, temporary assignment, located just a short commute from St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The initial work schedule (P&Ls and investigation) is estimated to take 15 to 20 days. However, if successful, there is the possibility of extensions to other activities.
The role itself includes P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, in addition to investigations, and is around 37.5 hours per week.
Tasks:Ensure monthlyManagement accounts for the company are produced to the agreed deadline.
- Maintenance of daily and monthly cashflow forecast
- Preparation for monthly Management accounts which include Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Variance Analysis with supporting commentary.
- Reconciling control accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
For this position, you will need:
- The ability to take control of tasks and complete them on your own, alongside the ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience and knowledge with SAGE 200.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tasks listed in the job description.
- Hold part of an accountancy qualification, for example, AAT Level 3, ACCA.
