Salary: £15.38 - £19.23 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complaint handling in line with the Company's guidelines and policies
  • Negotiate the best outcome for customers and third parties involved
  • Bring customer complaints to a swift and fair conclusion
  • Draught and issue responses to complaints in a timely manner
  • Maintain complaint handling records and log
  • Provide regular management information on complaints
  • Conduct regular reviews of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the Managing Director
  • Manage and handle the complaints, Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), and fraud investigation processes
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain a register
  • Monitor compliance systems and ensure their effectiveness
  • Stay informed on industry changes, trends, and best practises
  • Assist with the design and implementation of improvements in communication and monitoring of compliance standards
  • Provide assistance to internal and external auditors
  • Perform adhoc duties or project work as required
  • Demonstrate flexibility, positive attitude, and high standards of conduct
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as requested

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Excellent knowledge of FCA rules, Data Protection legislation, and the Financial Ombudsman Service
  • Previous experience working in a legal background
  • Degree or professional equivalent qualification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to draught and implement policies and procedures
  • Experience in producing management reports and analysing data
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in the finance industry
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in risk assessment and management
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
