IT Operations Manager
- Salary £50,000 + 10% bonus

We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee our computer, server, and infrastructure operations across the EMEA region. This role involves supervising the resolution of escalated end-user incidents and service requests within established SLAs, using diagnostic and tracking tools, and providing hands-on desktop support. The successful candidate will be part of a regional team, providing primary support within the EMEA region and secondary support for global facilities as needed.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Evaluate and analyze trends to prevent future issues by participating in IT Service Management Problem Management.
- Alert management to emerging trends in incidents and potential security threats.
- Assist in the acquisition of assets and oversee IT Network, Business Applications, Telecommunications, and data security activities.
- Support software and hardware releases and roll-outs, ensuring adherence to Change Management best practices.
- Act as an escalation point for advanced or difficult requests and apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative and planned maintenance activities, including security tests and backup checks.
- Develop knowledge base entries and FAQs for end users and reinforce SLAs to manage expectations.
- Lead and develop IT Operations Field-Service employees within the EMEA region.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of proven Team Management/Leadership experience in IT.
- Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, including network switches, printers, desktops, laptops, and network routers.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows client OS.
- Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and processes.
Special Circumstances of the Job:
- Occasional travel to other facilities, customers, and suppliers, including international travel.
