Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist

I am seeking a CRO Specialist to join the expanding team of a very successful organisation in Maidstone (office based - flexible hours). This role is crucial for driving our client's success by developing and executing comprehensive Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategies. You will be instrumental in analysing data, optimising user experience (UX), and enhancing overall business strategies through detailed insights from digital analytics tools.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Analyse large datasets using platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, and Optimizely to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Plan, develop, and execute CRO strategies to improve funnel conversion rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) for our clients.
  • Identify UX issues and opportunities through detailed analysis and statistical testing (A/B and MVT).
  • Develop a detailed and continually evolving roadmap of testing initiatives based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of testing initiatives, including test mock-up, configuration, quality assurance, activation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Design, and Development teams to launch and measure new tests based on reporting analysis.
  • Deliver each testing initiative on time and provide detailed performance reports.
  • Manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes and adapt recommendations to suit client budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of CRO principles and a data-driven, commercial mindset.
  • Proficiency in extracting, analysing, and interpreting data from analytics platforms like GA4 and Adobe Analytics.
  • Expertise in A/B and MV testing, and a solid understanding of web tracking.
  • Experience in UX optimisation and creating, prioritising, and evolving CRO roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with UX & UI best practices, psychology and persuasion principles.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and personalisation tools, particularly Optimizely.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and basic experience with design tools like Figma.
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing influences (SEO, PPC, Affiliates, DM) and their impact on web performance.
  • Excellent planning, task management, and time management skills.
