We are actively seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a vibrant specialist school in the WF1 area, committed to nurturing the potential of every student with additional needs. If you have UK-based experience and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with SEN, this full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am-03:30 pm, could be your ideal fit.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting children with SEN within the UK.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum is crucial.
  • Valid Enhanced Child DBS certificate.
  • Ideally, a background in education or relevant qualifications.
  • A profound understanding of SEN support strategies and the ability to navigate a diverse learning environment with patience and empathy.
  • Appreciation of each child's uniqueness, necessitating personalized learning approaches.
  • Full-time availability is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in designing and delivering engaging learning activities tailored to individual student needs.
  • Provide personalized academic and emotional support, whether through one-on-one sessions or small group settings.
