Finance Manager required for a family run business near to Poole. Reporting to the MD, this role is in sole charge of the Financial Management of the company, including Management Accounts, Bookkeeping duties through to the production of the accounts for the auditor's review. This role would suit someone with a broad accounting background, enjoys a varied and challenging role, hands on and an easy-going attitude.
Responsibilities
- Daily and weekly banking, bank reconciliations
- Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
- Balance sheet controls and reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly Payroll - PAYE payments, P45s, P60s, P11Ds
- Management Accounts
- Preparation of year end accounts for company accountants
Key skills and qualifications
- Experienced part qualified or QBE
- Sage advantageous
- Multiple IT systems knowledge even implementations desirable
- Advanced Excel
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated and confident
- Integrity
