Commercial Management Accountant

About the Business

We have an opportunity for you to be a Commercial Management Accountant for an excellent technology business in Solihull Town Centre. The company has doubled in size in the space of 18 months and has plans to grow further.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

  • Ensuring accurate month end preparation and reporting of the management accounts, including:
  • Improving processes within the Management Accounts team
  • Ownership of new entities, Cost of Sales margin analysis, and direct expenses and overheads in the accounts
  • Investigation and commentary on variances to budget
  • Involvement with the integration of new acquisitions in (some travel may be required)
  • Assisting with key aspects of statutory and financial accounting processes
  • Liaising with management accountants on other entities for intercompany reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

Location / Office / Culture

This role is based in Solihull, and is in the office two to three days a week, with the rest from from home. It's a large, friendly team, with very down-to-earth managers. There is plenty of progression due to the acquisitive nature of the business. The company will offer hybrid working patterns.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a management accounts role
  • ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (newly qualified or finalist)
  • Strong spreadsheet skills
