As a Delivery Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects throughout our organization. Joining our esteemed Property team, you will be tasked with managing and coordinating a diverse range of internal and external refurbishment projects. This will involve conducting designs, surveys, contract administration, and providing on-site supervision from start to finish for planned maintenance housing refurbishment works on our tenanted housing stock. We are also proud to be a Disability Confident employer.RequirementsOutline of Key responsibilities for a Delivery Surveyor in the Property team. You will undertake property surveys, including measured surveys identifying remedial works required. Managing contractors to deliver a range of projects including kitchen, bathroom, roofing, rendering, windows, doors, structural, environmental, communal, building safety, compliance, insulation upgrades including new heating systems etc To supervise projects and ensure they are completed in accordance with specifications, schedules of work & current statutory regulations and the Organisations policies and procedures. You will supervise works on site in accordance with the contract documents / THG requirements, to ensure that projects are carried out to the required standard, safely, on time and within budget. Recording and updating component history held within the Housing Management System. To monitor contractors'/sub-contractors' performance and quality control on site. Daily decisions relating to the prime objectives of post and within established policies and procedures (and where no president exists) Responsible for the safe usage of any materials and equipment in compliance with Health and Safety Legislation Access to computer information and confidential material etc, therefore responsible for the security and management of it under the provisions of the Data Protection Act To prepare cost estimates, budget forecasting / financial monitoring and cost control, working within defined budgets. Full UK Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle Experience of delivering Construction projects and programmes of work on time & within budget Experience of UK Construction related contract management Experience of UK Construction related Health & Safety Experience of Dealing with Customers Knowledge of current building policy and practice, including: Decent Homes Standard, Housing Health and Safety Ratings, Asbestos Awareness, Electrical Regulations, and Gas Safe Regulations. A Construction related qualification at Level 4 of the Regulated Qualification Framework, such as , HNC, Certificate or Diploma at level 4 or Higher National Diploma in Construction (HND in construction). Starting salary of £33,114 per annum Annual pay scale increase 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays Hybrid working, 2 days a week working from home. You will be based out on site for the rest of your week (Approximately 3 days) You will be covering Calderdale and Lancashire. You can work in either of our offices Halifax or Blackburn.
