Position Overview: We are seeking a highly Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be biased towards electrical maintenance, you will monitor the safety and efficiency of all equipment operations, perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and customer quality standards.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment, including power and control wiring, motors, controls, electronic devices, PLCs, and building electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and program machine logic systems, including PLCs and other electronic systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, parts manuals, blueprints, sketches, hydraulic diagrams, and machine manuals.
- Evaluate production reports to address and correct causes of production inefficiencies.
- Perform building maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain detailed records in the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (EAM) for work orders and parts management.
- Actively participate in plant teams and activities including safety, quality, sustainability, community involvement, OEE, maintenance, employee wellness, brainstorming, and continuous improvement.
- Operate Powered Industrial Truck, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
- Experience / knowledge of PLC Progamming.
- Advanced skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
