We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded estate agency in London who are looking to recruit a Mortgage Consultant to support one of their branches in London. They are looking for someone who has experienced as a Mortgage Consultant and working with/or at an Estate Agency. This role is Monday-Friday.
Job Purpose
To provide financial services support to the branch network, by offering suitable and affordable mortgage to KFH clients and to refer for protection advice whilst maintaining excellent quality standards in accordance with industry regulation.
Key Accountabilities
- To advise on and recommend suitable mortgage products relating to the house ownership process.
- To ensure quality record keeping standards (QORK) are maintained in accordance with published advice standards
- To exceed income objectives which will include but are not restricted to an average number of mortgage submissions per week whilst achieving a minimum 70% fee penetration.
- To exceed minimum conversion rates in all authorised product areas.
- To deliver an exceptional professional service to the branch network and clients ensuring conduct and behaviour is such that KFH Group standards are met at all times.
- To develop a strong working relationship with the Sales Team within your assigned branches in order to work openly and transparently
- To ensure that agreed performance management tasks are undertaken in accordance with published operating standards. This will include but is not restricted to observations, one to one reviews and regular product and core standard tests.
- At all times you will maintain a strong working relationship with the Risk & Control and Operations team in order to work openly and transparently so that professional risks and operating procedures are managed and monitored effectively.
Professional / Personal Skills and Experience
- Full CII MP or CeMAP qualified.
- Proven track record as an adviser is an advantage.
- Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines in a fast paced, target driven environment
- A professional individual with ability to use own initiative
- Self-motivated with ability to motivate others
